When I was younger, I wanted to be a mermaid more than anything-

I read every book about mermaids I could get my hands on, hoarded shells like gold, and always bound my legs together when I went for a swim. And I would be lying if I said The Little Mermaid wasn't a factor for the reason why I wanted to sing. I read so many stories online from people who've claimed they were successfully able to turn into mermaids, and I knew thats what I wanted. I wanted to be a beautiful siren who glided along the waves, singing to the moonlight, exploring the world without needing anything but my fins, free from all this crap. I lived the good part of my childhood and teen years in mermaid fantasies. 

I recently also figured out my fondness of wind/air, which had led me to wanting to fly. Good lord how I wish I had wings so I could fly away from here... but still I feel aimless. How is anyone supposed to find themselves when the world tries to beat reality into them? Work, school, bills, it all seems pointless to me.

But anyway, here I am  trying to rediscover myself yet again. Ever since I joined this site for the second time, I've been looking through it in my free time. I guess after all this time, mermaids have remained one of my happiest thoughts. And perhaps just maybe that means more than I think it does.

Hmm....a sweet, loving, intelligent very altruistic girl. A girl who is also eccentric, colorful, playful, thoughtful, helpful, honest, loyal, faithful, protective, persistent and looks out for others as much as she can. I also accept people for who they are. I'm quite a chill person as long as you don't try to start any conflict with me. I also have a sense of humor and love to laugh. My cons would be things like how I can be a bit cynical at times, stubborn(although I think this is kinda something that can go both ways), lazy when tired or just lazy sometimes in general. I guess my judgement at times as well. Can always ask if you want to know specific things about me. x3
